Rail passengers are facing transport chaos as multiple routes are delayed across Scotland.
A signalling problem is causing major disruption to central belt services to Glasgow.
A fault in the signalling system between Linlithgow and Edinburgh Park has reduced and delays services for Glasgow, Alloa, Stirling, Dunblane, Milngavie, Dalmuir, Balloch and Helensburgh.
Severe weather has lead to the delay of routes connecting The Highlands to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Delays for all affected routes are to be expected until the end of the day.
Train services between Edinburgh and Aberdeen have been suspended.
