Glasgow will be hit with a 'rollercoaster' of temperatures this weekend.
Temperatures will stay cold across Friday and Saturday with lows of -1 °C and highs of -3°C.
Conditions will stay mostly dry and frosty with peaks of sunshine and rain arriving from the northwest.
Sunday will see temperatures soar to 8°C with lows of 3°C but rising temperatures will also bring showers.
Craig Snell, a forecaster at the Met Office said: “We could start to see some sleet and snow, even on lower levels in Northern Ireland and western Scotland for the evening rush hour.
“All in all, today it will be a blustery, showery day across the country, with showers turning increasingly wintry the further north and west you are in the country.”
