BOXING Day normally consists of stuffing ourselves with Christmas dinner leftovers, cracking open the Celebrations tub and binge-watching our favourite movies.
However, for those of you early birds who are keen to head out and spend your Christmas money and gift cards on Boxing Day, most Glasgow shopping centres, department stores and supermarkets will fling their doors open for all your retail therapy needs.
Here are all the opening hours you need to know for Boxing Day 2017 in Glasgow:
Shopping Centres and Department Stores
Please note certain stores and restaurants may be closed or may have different opening hours to their shopping centre on December 26.
Silverburn Shopping Centre: 9am to 7pm
The Forge: 10am to 6pm
St. Enoch Shopping Centre: 9am to 6pm
Buchanan Galleries: 10am to 6pm (John Lewis will be closed)
Princes Square: 11am to 5pm
Glasgow Fort: 8am to 7pm
Intu Braehead: 8am to 7pm
Frasers: 7am to 7pm
Debenhams (Argyle Street and Silverburn): 8am to 6.45pm
Supermarkets
Tesco Superstores: 9am to 6pm
Tesco Express stores: 8am to 10pm
Asda Superstores: 9am to 6pm
Sainsbury’s: 9am to 9pm
Morrisons: 9am to 5pm
Lidl: 11am – 5pm
Aldi – Closed
Please note that your local store may be closed or vary from the times above. We would advise checking on their websites before leaving the house.
