POPULAR music chain HMV will close two of its city stores this month.
Glasgow Fort confirmed that their branch of HMV will close at the end of the month while Silverburn said the music shop will shut its shop for good on January 27.
HMV still operate out of Argyle Street in the city centre.
It is not known how many jobs are effected by the closures and both shopping malls did not reveal who would take up the empty units.
In 2013, HMV went into administration which forced the closure of 66 stores across the UK.
Glasgow Braehead, Fort and Silverburn were earmarked for closure as part of the process.
Nick Edwards, joint administrator at Deloitte, previously said the step had been taken in order to enhance the prospects of securing the business' future.
The first HMV-branded store was opened by the Gramophone Company on Oxford Street in 1921, and the firm also own Scottish firm Fopp which has stores in Byres Road and Union Street.
