STAFF at a Glasgow venue have spoken out after experiencing "racist and homophobic verbal abuse".
Last night, a worker at Bar Bloc in Bath Street was subjected to abuse from a customer.
And the popular bar has released a statement in response to the abuse allegations on their social media account.
The bar posted a photo of a sign inside the bar, which reads 'Not For Everyone', accompanied by a comment.
It reads: "Our 'Not For Everyone' sign gets attention. Mostly good, but some bad.
"Last night our staff experienced racist and homophobic verbal abuse. We just want to clarify why we are 'Not For Everyone'.
"We are NOT for racists.
"We are NOT for homophobes or any other phobics.
"We are NOT here to be finger-clicked or whistled at.
"We are NOT here to be abused in ANY form.
"This is a statement about where we stand. We are an independent venue, eatery and bar.
"We welcome people to enjoy good food, drink with family and pals, we are proud of being a grassroots music venue and playing host to an abundance of musicians and being a platform to provide entertainment.
"It's as simple as that. If any of these things are not for you, or you want to disrupt those things with negativity, then we are not for you."
