A teenager has died after coming into difficulty swimming in Loch Lomond.
The 17-year-old boy, named locally as Owais Malik, was retrieved from the water, north of Luss, by emergency services around 7.20pm on Sunday evening.
Police, ambulance, Loch Lomond Rescue Boat and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Rangers rushed to the beach.

They managed to recover the teenager from Yoker and paramedics are said to have worked to revive him.
He was taken to the Royal Alexandra hospital where he later died.
A post mortem examination will be taking place in due course but the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "We recieved a report of a 17-year-old male in the water at Loch Lomond, near Luss, around 7.20pm.
"Emergency services attended the scene and the teenager was taken to Royal Alexandra Hospital where he later died.
"A post-mortem examination will take place in due course but there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
This tragedy comes just four days after Rebin Rehan from Glasgow, disappeared in the water after an evening of swimming with friends.

Police and the Loch Lomond rescue boat crew worked through the night of Wednesday July 4 in the search for the missing 25-year-old swimmer.
His body was found in the water near Drumkinnon Bay the following morning.
