LUCKY Glasgow locals are in with the chance to win one of 3,000 gift cards up for grabs.
Glasgow Taxis volunteers will be hitting the streets and giving away the prizes on Wednesday July 11.
Accepted in more than 80 local businesses, the Glasgow-wide gift card is a prepaid Mastercard that can be spent at the city’s leading restaurants, shops, attractions and in more than 800 Glasgow Taxis.
Restaurant group Rusk & Rusk are the latest to join up to the scheme and the card is now accepted in all their dining spaces including The Butchershop Bar & Grill, Hutcheson’s City Grill, The 158 Club Lounge and The Spanish Butcher.
Speaking on behalf of the Glasgow Taxis Ltd. executive committee, chairman Stephen Flynn said: “We are always looking for ways to make it easier for our customers to find their way across the city and this payment option is a welcome addition.
“We love the fact that a tourist can explore the city; enjoy a cocktail in Finnieston then hop in a cab to a top restaurant all with one gift card.
“Whether you want to pay via gift card, card, cash or through our app, it’s now even easier for you to travel in across the city in our cabs.”
