A YOUNG woman filmed dancing on top of a smashed-up ambulance in the aftermath of England's World Cup quarter-final win is reportedly Scottish.
Larissa Bell, 21, from East Kilbride, was spending a weekend in London with friends when she was pictured being cheered on by booze-fuelled England supporters as she trampled on the ambulance car.
London Ambulance Service condemned the incident, writing on Twitter: "We're delighted with the result, but this has put a big dampener on the celebrations for us.
"While our officer attended a call nearby, this car was damaged in Borough High Street during the celebrations after the game – it's now off the road to be repaired."
Met Police later appealed for help in identifying those responsible.
The Scottish Sun identified Bell and approached her at home, where she admitted to a reporter that she jumped on the ambulance.
A Scotland Yard spokesman told the paper: "Enquiries remain ongoing and no arrests have been made.
"Detectives from Southwark are investigating and are aware of images circulating via social media. Enquiries are underway to trace those involved.
"Officers advise anyone with information – or anyone who may have damaged the London Ambulance Service vehicle – to make contact with Southwark CID via 101 quoting ref 5683july07."
