Celtic player Olivier Ntcham has been reported for road traffic offence after two-car smash in Cumbernauld.
Police are appealing for dash cam footage following the crash between a Range Rover being driven by Olivier Ntcham and Odsonne Edouard and silver Volvo on Mollins Road in Cumbernauld around 2.20pm on Wednesday.
The 54-year-old Volvo driver was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital following the incident.
Police confirmed that a 22-year-old man, thought to be Olivier Ntcham, has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for a road traffic offence.
Police Constable, Stuart Newall, Cumbernauld Police Office, said: “We are appealing for anyone who in the area who may have dash cam footage that can help us in our enquiries. Did you witness the collision, or were you driving along that road prior to the collision? You may have information that can help us.
“Anyone with information should contact Cumbernauld Police Office via 101, quoting incident number 2022 of Wednesday 11 July 2018.”
As previously reported by the Evening Times, emergency services raced to the scene.
One eyewitness said both cars had careered off the road and into a bush at the at the junction with Orchardton Road.
