BOYZONE singer Shane Lynch made sure his visit to Scotland for Scotfest was a true family affair.
While Shane’s sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch are in B*witched, who also played the fest, Shane’s visit to Scotland saw his whole family get together. His mum and dad, Noeleen and Brendan, were there and spent the majority of their time backstage with the family.
They were recognised by some fans who shouted out “Shane’s mum, Shane’s Dad, speak to us”.
Shane told me: “There’s some amazing people playing this fest and we are the cherry on the top. It’s great to be here with everyone.”
Ronan Keating also hinted that the band’s SSE Hydro gig in Glasgow next year might not be the last time we see them.
When I suggested Scotfest was his second last gig here, he said: “I think there will be a few more shows here.”
