A GLASGOW eatery popular with the city’s gym goers has suddenly shut up shop after just two-and-a-half years.
Prep Fitness Kitchen opened amid high anticipation on January 22, 2016, on Bath Street with the aim to offer customers healthy options.
The site, just off Buchanan Street, housed a 60-cover restaurant with all waiting staff hand-picked, based on their various health and fitness qualifications and backgrounds.
The impressive arsenal of staff ranged from sports nutritionists, personal trainers, and human nutrition and dietetics university students to UKBFF bodybuilding champions and a professional wrestler.
The company broke its closure news in a short post to its 25,000 Facebook followers.
Bosses wrote: “Cheers to all our Prep Fitness Kitchen fans, we are proud to have served you over the last year. It’s been a blast. We’re sorry to announce that we’re now closed.
“Thanks for all your custom... we have something new coming...watch this space!
“#PrepFitnessKitchen #Thankyouforyourcustom #somethingnewsoon!”
