The elderly victim was followed by the man as he walked down Union Street towards Argyle Street.

The incident happened on Saturday, July 7, shortly after 4.45pm.
The suspect was white, around 50-years-old, of a stocky build, short grey hair and walked with a limp. He was wearing a grey pullover top and matching grey bottoms.
Officers are currently making a number of enquiries, including looking at CCTV from the area and would like to speak to any witnesses who may have seen the incident.
