ONE of the world’s rarest medieval tapestries is going on display in Paris after a loan was agreed with Glasgow’s Burrell Collection, which is under renovation.
Magic Unicorns, which was purchased by Sir William in 1937 for £250 has not been shown in public since 1969.
It will be displayed at Musée de Cluny, Paris from Saturday until February 2019.
The 17th-century Persian Wagner Garden Carpet has also taken up residence at The Metropolitan Museum of Art until October 7.
