Dozens of workers from Glasgow and the surrounding areas are set to lose their jobs as Poundworld goes under.
Stores in and around the city affected are Clydebank, Cumbernauld, East Kilbride, Glasgow Argyle, Glasgow Forge, Glasgow Forge Retail Park, Greenock, Hamilton, Motherwell, Paisley, Port Glasgow, Shawlands and Wishaw.
It has now been revealed that twelve people in Glasgow will be made redundant with another 12 in Greenock set to lose their jobs.
Across the UK, 80 Poundworld stores will be closing.
Poundworld, which was formerly owned by private equity firm TPG Capital, has 335 stores and employs around 5,100 people.
