The SSPCA has been forced to close their Glasgow centre and launch an urgent appeal after the building was left without water following an issue with the water tank.
With temperatures reaching the high twenties, animals at the centre will need the water more than ever, however it could be reportedly two weeks before the tank can be fixed.
The Glasgow centre has said that although the water can still be used to clean the animals, it is too contaminated to be used as drinking water.
The animal charity is now appealing for the public's help with bottled water donations which will help to save staff time and money and keep the animals hydrated during the high temperatures.
Due to the problem, the centre has had to close and will not be accepting any animals for rehoming during this time.
Anyone who wants to help can do so by visiting the centre at 125 Kinnell Avenue, Cardonald with bottled water.

The charity have also created links to Amazon on their social media sites, where multi-packs of bottled water can be donated to the centre.
