Former Rangers star Jason Cummings has expressed his sadness at not being given more of a chance with Rangers after signing a loan deal with Peterborough United from Nottingham Forrest.
The striker was on loan from the team to Rangers for six months but is now 'gutted' that his time with the club is over.
The 22-year-old posted an emotional message on his Instagram page, thanking the fans "who made it special" for him.
Next to a picture of himself in his Rangers strip he wrote: "Gutted that it's over but happy that it happened.
"Wish I had been given more of a chance but that's football. Thanks to the fans who made it special for me."
The post has received more than 18,000 likes and has been flooded with comments from fans reassuring the player that his time will come.

Another @youngstarsimo92 added: "All the best for the future, your still young so hopefully we shall see you again in that great shirt."
While @davesmithers4 said: "Pity you weren't taken back man!! Best of luck at Peterborough."
Cummings scored six goals in 18 matches with the Ibrox side during his time at the club.
