A MOTORIST was pulled over by eagle-eyed cops who spotted that his sat nav had been attached to the steering wheel - using sticky tape.
The crafty Ford driver found out the hard way that satellite navigation systems need to be correctly placed during journeys.
He was stopped by Cheshire Police taskforce on the M6 after they noticed the unusual placing of the sat nav.
On closer inspection, it had been attached to the steering wheel with sticky tape.
The driver obviously didn’t have the correct kit to safely attach the device and thought he had come up with a good solution...until he was pulled over by police.
Many people took to social media to comment on such a wheely silly move adding they had 'seen it all now'.
While others questioned what would have happened when he went around a corner.
The Highway Code warns of the danger of becoming distracted by using an in-vehicle system such as satellite navigation.
If you fail to comply with non-mandatory aspects of the Highway Code, it can count against you in a court case.
