A HORROR crash at a Glasgow Speedway even sent an Australian rider metres into the air, before he dramatically recovered to return to his feet.
Speedway rider Zaine Kennedy was representing Australia in an Under-21 World Team Championship semi-final at Glasgow on Saturday night when he smashed into the air bag round the side of the track.
Incredibly, a pile of tyres at the Ashfield track softened his landing, with spectators inside the Ashfield stadium in Possilpark were left stunned as Kennedy walked away unscathed from the accident.
The 20-year-old said: "I'm actually all right - I feel good."
