A MAJOR search operation has been launched after reports of a teenager going into the water in a Paisley park.
Cops have closed down Glennifer Braes Country Park as they search of the boy who is believed to have went into the water at around 5.35pm.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman told The Scottish Sun: “At around 5.35pm, we received a call to Glenburn Reservoir in Paisley following a report that a teenage boy had gone into the water. The area is currently being searched at the moment. The police marine unit is in attendance along with other emergency services.”
