A BUSY Glasgow road is to re-open almost one week after a burst water main caused traffic chaos for commuters.
One northbound Garscube Road lane and two southbound lanes will open again today.
Scottish Water said "in order to help minimise disruption for commuters", the road will reopen at around 9am.
A section of Garscube Road was originally closed in both directions from its junction with Possil Road to the traffic lights at the slip road for the M8 eastbound, near to Corn Street.

Some restrictions, which were agreed in consultation with Glasgow City Council, will remain in place to enable the reinstatement work to continue.
A spokesman said: "Scottish Water apologises to road users for any inconvenience and thanks them in advance for their patience and co-operation while the reinstatement work continues."
As previously reported, engineers battled through the night to repair the main after it burst early Friday morning and restore water supply for surrounding homes.
