POLICE have arrested and charged a 46-year-old man after another male was seriously assaulted at a flat in Govanhill.
The Evening Times reported on Tuesday night how police were are dealing with an incident in the area.
Officers rushed to Butterbiggins Road in the evening, and it was understood the area had been sealed off.

The Evening Times understood at least five police vehicles were at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “At around 5.55pm on Tuesday, July 17, police were called to a flat on Butterbiggins Road, Glasgow, after a 36-year-old man was seriously assaulted.

“He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is detained in a stable condition.
“A 46-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, July 18.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
