A FUNDRAISING page has been set up to help the family of a 14-year-old boy who died in a Paisley reservoir.
The body of Ben Thomson was recovered from the water at Gleniffer Braes Country Park, after a major searched was launched for him around 5.35pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services searched the reservoir for three hours until the body was discovered at 8.10pm.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Less than 24 hours after the devastating news broke, more than £2,000 has been raised to help the family.
Kind donors have left messages of support on the page which was started by Ronnie Laing.
Iain Mackenzie wrote: “So tragic - very sorry for your loss. Hoping that Ben will be remembered by Gleniffer HS at some point soon too.”
Audrey Mccotter added: “Such a sad day in Glenburn,thoughts are with Sharon and all the family.”
Well wishers also took to social media to pay tribute Ben, who is described as ‘lovely’ and ‘well mannered’.
Evelyn Mcmahon said: “RIP Ben. I am so sorry for your loss Sharon Thomson & family.
“I can’t imagine what pain you will all be in it’s a cruel sad world to lose anyone but to lose your child at any age is heart breaking.

Maggie Lickrish added: “Beautiful boy fly high Ben I’m so sorry.”
Senga Lynch added: “So heartbreaking what a lovely well mannered boy Ben was always had a smile on his face. My heartfelt condolences.”
Several friends simply posted a heartbreaking picture of a butterfly captioned “In memory of Ben”.
The picture reads: “Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end; it simply means I’ll miss you until we meet again.”

A local active class has been cancelled in light of the tragic death.
Laura Brown wrote: “Due to the tragic death of young Ben Thomson from Glenburn yesterday, our family active class will be OFF tonight. A few of our community champions knew Ben and his family and as a community in general, we are all shattered by this news.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Ben and his family at this terribly sad time.”
