SHOCKED workmen discovered a grenade while digging up a street in Glasgow's South Side.
Cops cordoned off Auldburn Road in Pollokshaws following the discovery at around 2pm today.
The force told The Scottish Sun that an old grenade had been found during work.

A spokesman said: "Enquiries are ongoing."
We reported earlier today that a suspcious package was found in Drumoyne.
Cops evacuated the area after the discovery at an address in Shieldhall Road at around 10.40am.
Police Scotland's bomb squad was sent to the scene and a controlled explosion was carried out.
