COMEDY cops in Coatbridge have posted an hilarious tweet about an air freshener thief - and Twitter has reacted.
The force said on the social media platform: "Guy steals 60 quid of air fresheners from Poundland Coatbridge. Cops follow cinnamon scent straight to his front door."
The tweet added that no dogs were required to find the criminal.
But the attempt at humour resulted in plenty of wise-cracks from Twitter followers.
I take it he has been scent down?
