A GLASGOW MP is set to hold a dedicated benefits advice surgery at Maggie’s Glasgow cancer support centre.
Carol Monaghan, MP for Glasgow North West, will be at the charity’s Gartnavel base next Friday for two hours, from 10am until 12pm.
She said: “A cancer diagnosis is devastating and daunting for those affected and their families, and living with cancer can have a real financial impact, be it through loss of income or increased costs and travel.
“It is so important that they and their families are supported as much as they can be.”
