A WOMAN is in a serious condition in hospital after she was found within waste ground in the Tradeston area of Glasgow.
Police are still trying to establish what happened to the 25-year-old who was discovered near to Centre Street on Saturday afternoon.

She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where she is in a serious condition.
A police cordon was set up and the force remained at the scene for several hours.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At 12.10 pm on Saturday, July 21, a 25 year old woman was found within waste ground near to Centre Street, Glasgow. She is currently being treated at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where her condition is described by medical staff as serious.

"A police investigation is ongoing to establish the circumstances. Anyone with any information or who was in the this area of centre street, please contact police."
