MORE than £1,500 has been raised by kind-hearted Rangers fans who have shown their support for former player David Hagen following his Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis.
The Edinburgh-born footballer, 45, is battling with the same illness which has struck down former Ibrox ace Fernando Ricksen.
The Rangers Former Players Benevolent Club started the campaign last week and hope to raise £5,000.
A message on the page said: “The Rangers Former Players Benevolent Club have launched this JustGiving page to raise funds for David and his young family.”
Hagen also played for Clyde and Hearts.
