A MAN is in hospital after he was seriously assaulted in Bearsden.
The 32-year-old was attacked in Spey Road at around 7.45pm on Sunday.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where his condition is described as stable.
Cops are still trying to establish what happened to him.
Last night, the force closed off the road as they launched their probe.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "At around 7.45pm on Sunday, July 26, police were called to Spey Road in Bearsden after a 32-year-old man was seriously assaulted.
"He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where medical staff describe his condition was stable.
"Enquires are ongoing."
