If they succeed, they will face the Greek champions, who enter the competition at the third round stage.
Matches will take place over 7/8 and 14 August, with Celtic Park to host the first leg.
AEK were crowned champions of Greece for the first time in 24 years last season, their 12th league title.
They also progressed to the last 32 of the Europa League after finishing second in the group stage behind AC Milan and ahead of Rijeka and Austria Vienna.
Their European adventure came to an end against Dynamo Kyiv, who knocked the Greeks out on goal difference with a 1-1 aggregate scoreline.
