LINES between Glasgow Central and Neilston have been reopened following an earlier electricity supply failure at Neilston.
Commuters are being warned, though, that disruption may last until 7.30am and that trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised as services return to normal.
Alternative travel advice issued to passengers is as follows:
Commuters may use their tickets on First Buses between Glasgow and Patterton and on McGills Buses between Glasgow and Neilston, and also between Glasgow and Paisley via Barrhead.
A replacement shuttle bus service will be in operation from 6.45am which will run between Neilston and Barrhead, so passengers can use services on the Barrhead route which are unaffected.
Commuters may also be entitled to compensation if they experience a delay in completing their journey today.
Train tickets should be kept a note of the journey should be made, as both will be required to support any claim.
