A FLIGHT from Ibiza has made a priority landing at Glasgow Airport.
Thomas Cook flight MT1591 from the popular holiday island was scheduled to land after 1pm but came into the city at 12.45pm.
There were 231 people on board.
A spokeswoman for Thomas Cook told the Evening Times the landing was requested by the captain, but that there were no issues.

She said: “Our flight from Ibiza landed at Glasgow shortly before 1pm.
“The aircraft has since been checked by engineers and we can confirm there are no issues and it will continue its flying programme today as planned.
“The safety of our customers and crew is always our first priority and the priority landing was requested by the captain on approach into Glasgow as a precaution.”
A Glasgow Airport spokesman added: “The inbound flight was met by our emergency services, as is standard procedure.”
