A MAN was rushed to hospital with serious injuries to his arm following a disturbance in Partick.
Around 7.20pm yesterday police were made aware of a disturbance involving a large group of people on Thornwood Place.
Emergency services attended and the 30-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries to his arm.
Detective Sergeant Stephen Palmer, Drumchapel CID, said: “Officers are still in the early stages of this enquiry, and are trying to establish exactly what happened during this incident which has resulted in a man being left with serious injuries.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the disturbance taking place, or who may have seen a large group of people in the area last night.
“We urge anyone with any information to come forward and contact us.”
