Police have launched an appeal to help trace a 15-year-old boy who went missing from his home in Knightswood.
Mohammed Al Matooq was last seen by a family member on July 16 at his home in Lincoln Avenue but later that day he failed to return home and was reported missing on July 18.
Mohammed is described as Asian, with short black hair a slim build and brown eyes.
He is around 5ft. 6 inches in height and was last seen wearing black Nike jogging trousers with white lines down the side of the trousers, a black and silver Nike top and black Nike trainers.
Mohammed was reportedly spotted in the Whiteinch area in the company of a friend on July, 21 and has exchanged the occasional text message with a family member since he dissappeared however police are continuing with extensive enquiries in a bid to trace the youngster.
The teen has gone missing before but his family is growing increasingly concerned and just want to know he is safe and well.
It's believed Mohammed is in the Glasgow area and officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen him or has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts to contact them at Drumchapel Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 1913 of 18 July 2018.
