A man suffered a serious facial injury this morning after being slashed when a fight broke out at a 'house party' in Glasgow.
The fight allegedly began at around 1am on Ryehill Road, Barmulloch when the 22-year-old was assaulted.
STV reported that the incident reportedly involved around five people and took place when the party spilled out onto the street.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 1am on Saturday July 28 a 22 year-old man was seriously assaulted in Ryehill Road, Glasgow.
"He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for a facial injury.
"Hospital staff describe his condition as stable.
Police enquiries are ongoing into this incident.
