SCOTTISH singer Midge Ure has said saving the Mack Building should not "conflict" with returning residents to their homes.
The star quoted a tweet from the Save Sauchiehall street group who were angered that the weekend's bout of bad weather would halt work on the dismantling of the Glasgow School of Art building.

Glasgow City Council has said it is working to dismantle the building as safely and quickly while maintaining the iconic building as much as possible.
As previously reported in the Evening Times, business owners and residents have protested over how long it is taking for them to be granted access to their properties following the fire on June 15.
