A grade-A listed castle built on land that was part of Robert the Bruce’s hunting grounds could be yours - for a mere £895,000.
Dalmoak House, and its attached estate, near Dumbarton, which dates from 1860, was originally put on the market for £1.7 million in May last year.
However, a reduction in the asking price has seen the listing go viral as Disney and history fans look into the fairytale gothic manor with a renewed interest.
The castle, which is being sold by sellers House Simple, boasts 16 bedrooms, a vast garden and hand-crafted, stained-glass windows.
The estate is just a half-hour drive from Glasgow City Centre along Great Western Road, which the sellers say makes it accessible for commercial centres, unlike most castles seen on the market.
The castle served as a nursing home for a brief time, but a grant from Creative Scotland meant the newly-refurbished manor and estate has been given a new lease of life
