A FORMER Casualty actor will take on the lead role in the King's Theatre production of Saturday Night Fever this November.
Richard Winsor, highly acclaimed for his dance, stage and screen work, will play Tony Manero, the role which famously rocketed John Travolta to screen stardom, in a new stage production of the musical.
The show will be at the city theatre from October 16 to 20 as part of a UK tour.
It will also be the actor's first stage appearance since Casualty. He played to play Caleb Knight in the BBC flagship medical drama Casualty, a role in which he gripped audiences for over three years until his dramatic exit, which shocked the star’s millions of fans as he lost his life in a knife fight.
