A LUXURY perfume brand has signalled an interest in taking over a unit in Glasgow's plush style mile.
Estee Lauder on behalf of Jo Malone has applied to Glasgow City Council to make internal and external alterations to a listed building on Buchanan Street.
They want to take over a unit on 95 Buchanan Street, which was occupied by Whittard of Chelsea.
Founded in 1983, Jo Malone is famed for her perfume and scented candles. It has been owned since 1999 by Estée Lauder.
A decision on the plans is expected by September 20.
