The death of teenage girl in Wishaw is being treated as 'unexplained' by police.
Officers were called to a house in Lomond Drive on Thursday July 26 after the tragic discovery of the 13-year-old was made.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At 7.20pm on Thursday, July 26, police were called to a report of a death of a 13-year-old girl at an address in Lomond Drive, Wishaw.
“A post-mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of her death which officers are treating as unexplained at this time.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Floral tributes addressed to the youngster have been left near to the house where she was found.
