A BODY has been recovered in the search for a missing Cumbernauld woman.
Lynn Tyeson vanished after a night out with friends in the Whitesands area around 3am on Sunday morning.

Divers were brought in to trawl the River Nith and called on residents to check sheds and garages for any trace of Lynn.
Police confirmed about 1.15pm today, officers searching for the 48-year-old were alerted by a member of the public to the discovery of a woman's body in the water, south of Kingholm Quay.

Underwater search officers assisted by the Coastguard and Nith Inshore Rescue staff have recovered the body, which has still to be identified.
Her family have been made aware of the development.
