WHISKY fans will be transported to the island home of one of the country’s biggest distillers at a street food market.
A series of phone boxes, symbolic to the three vital boxes nestled on the island, will arrive at Glasgow’s Platform at The Arches for two weeks to allow visitors to sample Jura Single Malt Whisky.
Kicking off tomorrow guests will find three drams from Jura’s new core range waiting on them and a local to Jura will be on the end of the line, to speak about the ins and outs of island life and the stories behind the new range as they sample each whisky.

Graham Logan, distillery manager, said: “Who better to give Glasgow a real sense of Jura and our new whiskies than the local island community themselves.
“We are incredibly proud of the new range and wanted to make our guests feel as if they’re sitting in the Jura pub, glass of whisky in hand and part of the community - a taste of island life in Glasgow.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming as many people as possible to our phone boxes and can’t wait to hear what you think of the new range.”
Jura Single Malt Whisky will be at Platform at The Arches from noon tomorrow to Sunday, August 5, and again on Friday 10 August to Sunday 12 August. Entry to Platform is free.
