LIDL has recalled a wiring kit over fears it could cause an electric shock or go up in flames.
The retail giant have asked customers who purchased the Powerfix Profi Quick Wiring Kit with model number HG02035A and version 01/2018 to return the product "as a preventative measure in the interests of customer safety".

After an investigation, the supermarket determined there was a risk of electric shock or the product catching fire.
Customers have been asked not to continue using the item and can be returned to any Lidl store for a full refund, with or without the receipt.
To determine if a customer has picked up the effected batch, advice is to check the back of packaging or call customer services on 0370 444 1234.
