SAUCHIEHALL Street is beginning to return to normal for the first time since a massive fire ravaged the popular shopping precinct.
The bottom half of the street was reopened late on Friday evening following the Victoria's Nightclub blaze in March.
A Glasgow City Council spokesman confirmed to the Evening Times on Friday: A spokesman said: “From [Friday] Sauchiehall Street between Renfield Street and Hope Street will reopen to pedestrians.

"While some work on service reconnection on the street will continue, the council will leave the demolition site.
"Renfield Lane will also reopen to pedestrians.”
A small raised area in the centre of the precinct will remain fenced off to allow dressing and repairs.
It's not yet known when the streets businesses will begin to reopen, with many having been closed since the blaze ripped through the street.
