RANGERS have appealed the red card that was shown to striker Alfredo Morelos during Sunday's Premiership draw with Aberdeen.
The striker was dismissed by referee Kevin Clancy following an incident with Dons defender Scott McKenna.
Boss Steven Gerrard was left furious at the decision as a late Bruce Anderson strike denied him a win on his league bow.
Rangers submitted an appeal to the Scottish FA on Monday afternoon in a bid to overturn the sending off and allow Morelos to feature against St Mirren this weekend.
