POP singer Will Young is to stand trial later this year for allegedly driving through a red light.
The 39-year-old is accused of carrying out the offence on November 5, last year at Bath Street Glasgow.
Young, a songwriter and actor was not present at Glasgow’s Justice of the Peace Court when the case called on Tuesday.
The former Pop Idol winner was represented by lawyer Darren Fleming who pled not guilty on his behalf.
A trial was set for November this year.
