Two men found dead in separate properties in Newton Mearns were brothers.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Castle Road around 3.15pm on Sunday where the body of 29-year-old was discovered.
Detectives were then sent to nearby Moorhill Crescent where they found the body of a 28-year-old man inside.
It is understood that the men, named locally as John and Scott Mitchell, were brothers.

Police are now investigating whether the deaths are drug related.
Both were said to have spend the weekend partying together before heading home to different addresses.
Carly Anne Collins, the girlfriend of John Mitchell, posted a heartbreaking tribute on social media.
She wrote: "Miss u soo much my beautiful boy! Luv u."
A fundraising page has been launched to raise money for the family reading: "As you are all aware this is a very hard time for the family and as a community I thought we could come together and help take some of the stress off no matter how small it is in the severity of things.
"Please donate what you can you help the family every little helps.
"Rest easy boys you were loved by many."
More than £2,000 has been raised towards the £500 goal in just two days.
