TRAINS have been delayed in Airdrie due to a passenger causing a disturbance.
Scotrail confirmed that services have been disrupted following the incident today.
The rail firm said services included Balloch to Airdrie, Helensburgh to Edinburgh via Bathgate and Milngavie to Edinburgh via Bathgate are affected.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "Officers were called to Airdrie station at 11.10am today after reports that a man was causing a disturbance on board a train.
“Officers attended and removed the man from the train service so it could continue without further delay. The man’s details were taken and no arrests were made.”
