A TEENAGER has been arrested following a large-scale fight in Clarkston.
Police Scotland confirmed on Friday that the 18-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident at Overlee Park.
We previously reported that one teenage victim, 16, was stabbed during the fight while two others were also taken to hospital following the attack between Overlee Park and Netherton Braes.
The incident happened on Tuesday night as hundreds of teenagers descended on the park to celebrate their exam results.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"Enquiries are continuing to trace individuals involved in the disturbance and anyone with information is asked to contact Cathcart CID via 101, quoting incident number 3675 of Wednesday 7 August 2018."
