After another spell of sunshine over the past few days, our luck has once again come to a rather sodden end as showers are set to sweep in across Glasgow.
That's right, it is time to wave goodbye to the sun and get the umbrellas out once more as clouds are set to thicken this evening over the city bringing persistent showers throughout the night and into tomorrow.
According to the Met Office, Sunday will see rain for the whole day across the central belt but temperatures will remain relatively high with a maximum of 20 °C.
And the rest of the week is a mixed bag with a slightly drier Monday but freshening westerly winds bringing rain at times on Tuesday and Wednesday, mostly across the west.
For those hoping to see the Perseid meteor shower light up the sky tonight, Glasgow may not be the best place to view the 'shooting stars'.
The Met Office are advising seeking clear dark skies to view the spectacle.
And for those heading out to celebrate the final day of the European Championships tomorrow, make sure to pack the waterproofs.
