AN investigation is underway after the body of a man was discovered in Newton Mearns.
Around 2.30pm on Friday, the man was found within a property on Anderson Drive.
He is yet to be identified and a postmortem will be carried out to determine the cause of his death.
Police are treating the death as unexplained.

A spokeswoman for the force told the Evening Times: “At around 2.30pm on Friday, August 10 the body of an as yet unidentified man was found within a property on Anderson Drive in Newton Mearns, Glasgow.

“A postmortem examination will take place to establish the exact cause of death.
“Officers are treating the death as unexplained.”

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
The news comes just days after two brothers were found dead in separate homes in the area.
